Omaka Valley Hut is a stunning off grid home located in Marlborough. With a world of locally made wines on your doorstep, the stunning Marlborough Sounds around the corner and picturesque views of the Southern valley, its the perfect destination stop for anyone that loves a taste of the good life . Omaka Valley is as environmentally friendly as possible. The water is fed through from tanks through a UV (so its safe to drink), a septic tank system to encourage minimal waste, fresh produce is provided for guests and an automatic heating system to save on energy.
Amenities
You’ll find an outdoor bath and barbecue onsite, two must have’s for any off grid stay. The nights can be spent enjoying a locally made wine on the deck or playing a game of cards around the dinner table. Sleep with the curtains undrawn and wake up to one of the best sunrises you’ll ever see. Omaka Valley Hut is self catering. Just bring your own food and cook using the gas hob or bbq. A small fridge is available. Cutlery, crockery, pots and pans are provided. No wifi but who needs it when you’ve got the Southern Valley as your backdrop!
